Gotta Go Fast..... to Work

  1. When looking at this picture I see people in the subway. I see people rushing in different directions and one woman standing, not moving. It reminds me of when I get on the subway and how hectic it feels. I don't take the subway often because we don't have one near where I live so when I do go on the subway I feel very rushed, that I need to get to my destination fast, just cause everyone else is. When I look away I remember the woman in the back.

  2. In this image I see a frozen moment of people moving in the subway station with one blurred man moving in between them. The fact that only one of them is moving is very interesting. Is it because he's moving so fast he doesn't see them or is it because everyone else is frozen in their own world and is ignoring him? This reminds me of the idea often used in photos of a still person with everyone moving around them although this is the opposite. I am confused and mystified by the moving man. Is he actually there at all?

  3. When I look at the image I see a busy train station with a bunch of people in their own world and in their own pace going to whereever they need to go. I can relate to this picture because sometimes I feel like this in a train station, worried about getting on the next train as soon as possible or being in a rush to get to where I want to go. It makes me feel like we live in a very busy and fast paced environment. When I look away I remember the signs of the train station and the different lines of service.
